Tox

Tox is a peer-to-peer GPLv3 application and protocol that aims to replace Skype.

It features audio and video calls, an rich chat with integrated file-sharing, group chat, screen-sharing (or more exactly "screen-showing"), and Tor support.

Debugging

Get the debugging build for your platform (e.g.μTox for x86_64) and run it with `gdb`. Verify the build with the nightly signing public key: gpg --verify file.tar.gz (you must have the corresponding signature file next to the archive.

Consensus People

We meet every Thursday between 09:00 and 15:00 UTC to accomodate timezones on Tox and IRC.

To join the consensus channel on Tox, Tell the #GroupBot: invite 2

GroupBot

It is a ToxBot that serves the purpose of ChanServ on IRC. It's a temporary fix to provide the missing native group functionality in Tox, such as persistent channels, joining, etc.

You need to add GroupBot as a normal contact, using its ToxID: 56A1ADE4B65B86BCD51CC73E2CD4E542179F47959FE3E0E21B4B0ACDADE51855D34D34D37CB5 You may also use the shorter form: groupbot@toxme.se or https://services.tox.im/groupbot

Try the /help command.
