Introduction

Some Intel GPUs are known to work with fully free software.

As they are not available as discrete GPUs, to use a computer with such GPU with fully free software, you need to have the whole computer work with fully free software.

Several laptops and mainboards have such GPUs and are supported by Libreboot.

Note that not all Libreboot or RYF compatible laptops and mainboards have Intel GPUs.

How to help

Documenting all the freedom issues in depth is a lot of work for one person.

Hopefully it can be broken in many small tasks, so it's easy to help by making a tiny part of the work.

Here are some relatively small tasks that could help:

  • Find a page that list computers with Intel GPUs that are RYF compliant, or make a list of them in this page.
