This is a list of new projects for free distros. They have not been evaluated for freedom yet, so they are not in the gnu.org distros list. Most of them are beta software, and this list might also contain projects not yet released or started.

This list is those distros which are not ready to be evaluated:
- DelphOS
- http://wiki.delphosproject.org/ - developers confirmed to Franco Iacomella that is not yet usable, 1dec2010.
This list is those distros which were evaluated and turned out not to actually be interested in fully complying with the guidelines, and/or project development had stopped:
- RawGNU
- http://sortedbits.org/?page=systembuilder - developers confirmed to Jason Self that project is stopped indefinitely; was also using the standard kernel, etc.
