Please follow the instructions below to submit a video for an FSF-event, including LibrePlanet or the FSF anniversary event.

After uploading your video and filling out the video release form included below, please email campaigns@fsf.org notifying us of your submission.

FSF Birthday video

Record a 2-minute max video congratulating the FSF with its 35th anniversary, add a memory of free software or the FSF, and a wish for the future. Please keep your comments on the topic of free software and the FSF.

If you send your video before 16:00 EDT (20:00 UTC), on Thursday October 8th, your video can still be added to the live program on October 9th.

If you didn't make this deadline, do not hesitate to upload, we will find another occasion to use it!

Introduction

You should upload your video to our FTP server:

  • Username: anonymous
  • Port: 21
  • Folder: upload-here
  • Troubleshoot: if the connection fails the first attempt, please check the host name is exactly as described above, not including "ftp" or any additional text.*

You should now be connected. Drag and drop video file you want to upload from the left hand file tree into the upload-here folder in the right side pane.

When you are done uploading
