We are group of students from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana who promote the use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) among students. As the software piracy is at its peak in India, through this group we encourage students to use free and open source software and save them from committing the serious crime of piracy. In this group we teach individuals about how to use Linux as their primary operating system for day to day tasks. We arrange regular discussions and weekly lectures to help students embrace open source completely. Every year we receive lots of applications from students who want to join this group as it helps them in their career development. Linux in itself is a challenge to use for beginners and those who love challenges they also love Linux. If you want to learn something new everyday and you do not fear challenges then come join the group, we promise that you will have lots of fun and you will learn about things that you did not even know that exists.
