Regarding a Spanish version of GNU Generation, I think the concept is good. We have a bunch of native Spanish speakers that would benefit. The only problem is that it would further divide GNU Generation. We would have to make a separate mailing list, IRC channel, and project list. It would be incredibly difficult to objectively evaluate projects in multiple languages.
If you are interested in translation, there are a bunch of free software projects available in only English, though you might have to go hunting for them. :) You also might want to join the IRC channel if you are interested in doing some more artwork; it seems to be in high demand.
