Our first member is currently organizing a community project in Fredericktown, MO. This project, dubbed ''Community Computer UpCycle'' is upgrading donated computers to GNU/Linux which will be given away to people in the community. We are also offering assistance to people who request assistance updating their computers running Windows or macOS to GNU/Linux. We're also organizing a series of events to introduce GNU/Linux and free software to community members. Our first event is currently scheduled for August 7th at the Fredericktown Branch of the Ozark Regional Library from 6pm to 7:30pm.
