The LibrePlanet Alabama team is a group dedicated to the promotion of free software and exploration of computer science as a rewarding and fun discipline. We operate in accordance with the LibrePlanet Mission Statement and Code of Conduct.

An alternative idea that Freebilly has for long term goals of the group is to establish a Free Geek chapter in Alabama to create a systematic way of re-purposing hardware for low-income Alabamians and teaching volunteers the inner workings of computers and other cool technological devices.
