Free Software Society
- FSS The University of Sheffield has a student-run (although open to all) Free Software Society (FSS). The FSS organises talks, demos, installfests and general social events, as well as offering a community of knowledgeable Free Software users who can offer help to those who need it.
We're always after more members, speakers and publicity :)
The Sheffield Linux User's Group was set up to help to promote the GNU/Linux and the BSD operating systems and to assist those people who are interested in the OS.
