I'm thinking of buying a computer which both supports a [http://www.coreboot.org/Supported_Motherboards free BIOS] and supports [[FLOSS]] 3D accelerated graphics. (careful that all software even in 3D graphics, including the microcode is documented and FLOSS)

A good example and good question asking if hardware specifications are available for the graphics driver in the Lemote Yeeloong: lemote SMI VGA chip - is a datasheet available?
