We are a newly formed on-campus group that will be campaigning for free software in the coming years. The University has recently forced all students to utilize google applications for their coursework and email authentication, we don't believe this respects the freedom of our students, and we want this changed. We also want to see changes being made in the usage of proprietary software on campus, and we want to see free software options being made available for students.

Who are we?

A student group at the University of Alberta. We are looking to apply pressure to the University of Alberta to accept and support more free software.


What do we support?

Declaration

We operate in accordance with Libre Planet's code of conduct, rules and guidelines. We also align ourselves with the mission statement of the Libre Planet movement.
