Mesh Networking

There seem to be 4 major mesh networking protocols:

  1. OLSR, the oldest and most established
  2. BATMAN, newer but pretty widespread
  3. Babel, very new but does work / released software
  4. Open 802.11s, which is integrated into linux 2.6.26 and later
