LibrePlanet South Florida is a libre software and culture advocacy group focused on efforts in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

We support the LibrePlanet mission and adhere to the code of conduct.

Join Us!

Stake your claim as part of South Florida's free software community. Membership is gratis and we offer the following benefits and services:

You can attend any of our activities or use any official channel listed below to get involved. If you would like to be listed as a member, make an account here and email your username to Roberto so he can create your user profile page. If you know how to edit wikis, you can also make three edits to get page creation privileges.

Monthly Meet-up

We meet every first Saturday of the month at Northeast Dade – Aventura branch library, in the cafe area.

Code for Miami

A diverse group of Miamians putting technology to work to solve our community’s problems. They advocate for open data and generally release their work under libre lincenses. Meetings are 7pm every second and fourth Monday of the month at the Cambridge Innovation Center.

  • Take exit 3A off I-95 and stay right to get on NW 14th St
  • Immediate right onto NW 10th Ave
  • Right onto NW 15th Ave

  • After NW 18th Terrace, enter the big parking lot on the right
  • Get a parking ticket (you should be able to get out for free)
  • Tell the lobby receptionist that you are there for Code for Miami
  • You will be given elevator access to the 6th floor
  • The Amazon room is just east of the elevators
