Iranian Free Software Users Group
ifsug is a merged branch of mashhadLUG. Members of mashhadLUG who wanted to put their effort only on free software not linux(which can be non-free sometimes) started this group.
Projects
IPTP
The first Project ifsug has started is the Ifsug Persian Translation Project(IPTP).
currently some users are translatin gnome, xfce, gnu.org website and some translation projects packages.
There is no limitation, and any package from free softwares can be translated in this project. members of IFSUG are always ready to help and guide you. some of the future things to translate might be: coreutils info and man pages.
Future Projects
IFSUG future projects contains: providing handouts. introducing wikipedia in universities. providing a completely free os for fa(persian) users.
