PriorityProjects

The goal of this project is to help create group awareness and assistance with FSF Priority Projects.

Scope

This is a subproject of LibrePlanet for FSF priority projects and not intended for projects run by groups. The LibrePlanet group is responsible for administering Priority Projects. This project regulates LibrePlanet's administration. It therefore proscribes the procedures and regulations regarding setting up and running priority projects, but does not assist users, that is the purpose of LibrePlanet.

This project is responsible for mediating and negotiating priority projects with the FSF itself. The results of mediation between this website (i.e. the group network) and the FSF priority projects should be published here and forwarded to LibrePlanet in terms of revised directives.

This project does not accept recommendations for raising FSF projects to priority status, nor will it accept requests for new priority projects. The regulation of FSF priority projects is outside its scope and users should contact the FSF directly.

The FSF may, at its discretion, direct this site to remove, add, or alter priority projects to comply with FSF objectives, or legal requirements, and this project will be responsible for forwarding the necessary action to the LibrePlanet group and oversee its execution.

This project will mediate disputes between the LibrePlanet group and priority projects, but appeals may be referred to the FSF for final arbitration.

Vandalism, edit wars, content disputes, and similar activities that occur with priority projects are in the category of general administration and outside the scope of this project. However, where such activity affects the FSF priority projects, the FSF may direct this project to act, in accordance with the general administration guidelines, to terminate or limit the effects on the FSF priority projects as far as possible.
