Hello world. Welcome to my user page on libreplanet.

I use free software. Is there anything more to say? I guess not much. Well, here are some that I use:

  • gNewSense 2.3 deltah
  • GNU IceCat 3.6
  • GNOME 2.22.1
  • KDE 4.1.2
  • Code::Blocks 8.02
  • Apache Subversion 1.6.9

A list of free (not necessarily 100%) operating systems I've used (ordered by first use date):

  • DSL 4.4.10 (Live)
  • Slax 6.1.2 (Live)
  • Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 lenny (Live)
  • Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic (Live)
  • Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 lenny
  • gNewSense 2.3 deltah

A list of free operating systems I WILL try out (ordered by priority):

  • Debian GNU/Hurd
  • Debian GNU/Linux 6.0 squeeze
  • gNewSense 3.0
  • openSUSE GNU/Linux

One of the first three will likely become my default OS sometime in the future with gNewSense 3.0 and Debian 6.0 being the top candidates. From what I know, you are able to make Debian be 100% free by not using the non-free repo which is the reason why I'm putting it into high consideration. That and also that Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 is probably the best OS I've used with the least annoyances.
