Investigating running a satellite conference for LibrePlanet 2020 in Canada. This would enable increased participation both by Canadians and also anyone who cannot or does not wish to enter USA (if they are ok with Canada).

• KPL Main Branch has plenty of space for 3-track event: https://www.kpl.org/rentals
  • Out: they absolutely will not do the kind of weekend rental we need
• Delta Hotel Waterloo has plenty of space for *any* event: https://www.marriott.com/hotels/event-planning/business-meeting/ykfdw-delta-hotels-waterloo/
  • Seems perfect so long as they don't book up before event date is announced
  • Right next to ION, will include free parking with event
  • ~$6000 for room rental across two days. Less if we get sponsors for food

Party Research

• Huether Hotel has a "billiard room" (http://www.huetherhotel.com/Barley-Works-Public-Spaces.htm) which also seems to have pinball? Free of charge to book -- would cost maybe $500 to get a lot of appetizers and people could order off the menu for dinner or drinks
• Delta Hotel will let us use the space late if we want to do something there
