The Devon & Cornwall GNU Linux user group formed in about 1999 2000 and has been active ever since. We have run our own meetings, supported Software Freedom day and currently, due to the size of the region hold one meeting in Plymouth another meeting virtually on Jitsi.

The Paignton Library STEM group meets up once a month, but can trace it's history back to Linux user group meetings. So can double up as a LUG meet, hence inclusion here. As I run this meeting then I try and add a Free software bias to what we discuss or at least try and promote free software as much as possible. I put details on my website about this please see Paul Sutton for a link.

We have a mailing list with archive going back to the very start, and are probably one of the longest running user groups in the United Kingdom.
