About us

The Planet-Libre is a group of volunteers organized around furthering the ideals of free software. We are essentially a community of bloggers that want to promote free-software and related issues concerning digital rights. We are working together around a "planet" structure on the web which agregates our blogs on one single place and promotes our articles on the web.

This group is working towards a free society through free software, but we are not just a GNU+Linux User Group. We may promote any software that respects the freedom of its users. Our goal is just to be there and to educate people around us to the meaning of free culture and free software. We are convinced that proprietary software is a bad solution to our issues and that we can do what we want with free-software as well.
