The main organization in Taiwan for free software is the Software Liberty Association of Taiwan. There are many other local Linux User Groups that contribute to advocating free software and providing space for members to help each other. Active LUGs include Taipei Open Source Software User Group, TOSSUG and Kaohsiung Linux User Group, KaLUG
