The main organization in Taiwan for free software used to be the Software Liberty Association of Taiwan, however the website no longer seems to be maintained. The Taipei Open Source Software User Group (TOSSUG) website has also become inactive.
There seems to be only one local Linux User Group left that contributes to advocating free software and providing space for members to help each other: The Kaohsiung Linux User Group (KaLUG).
