About Us + Goals

The LibrePlanet Bay Area Team is a group of Hackers, Activists, Volunteers, Technologists, CyberPunks, CypherPunks, Crypto Hackers, Anarcho Hackers and computer users that collaborate to achieve the following goals:

  • Create a community where everyday users of free software can ask questions and trade tips.
  • Organize outreach: tabling, giving out free (as in freedom and beer) FOSS CDs and literature.
  • Develop presentations and marketing material that can be used to educate people, organizations and other activists on free software.

We operate in accordance with the LibrePlanet Mission Statement and Code of Conduct.
