Introduction
The XGI z9s is supported by GNUboot and Coreboot in the xgi driver.
Unfortunately it was removed after Coreboot 4.12.
The driver was compatible with at least mainboards with 18ca:0020 PCI IDs.
It's used at least in the following GNUboot compatible mainboards:
- Asus KFSN4-DRE
Both text-mode and framebuffer-mode work [1].
TODO
- Find out if standalone GPUs were made with this chip. If so, we could probably use it to build complete GNUboot systems with it.
