Manchester Free Software invites you to celebrate the release of GNOME 3.0, the next major release of GNOME.
The event will include:
- Live tour and demonstration of GNOME 3.0.
- Talk by Codethink.
- Codethink are a user of GNOME but also contributor to GNOME including GNOME 3.0.
- GNOME goodies.
- Discussion on GNOME Shell, Unity, Canonical's contributor agreement and its controversy, and the future of GNOME.

Where?
Madlab - Manchester Digital Laboratory, 36-40 Edge Street, Manchester M4 1HN.

Parking
Around the venue there are parking meter bays which are zero cost on Sundays but they get full up so you might have to find one further out.
Public Transport
Manchester Victoria (MCV) train station, Shudehill tram station and Manchester Piccadilly bus station are all fairly close to Madlab, see OpenStreetMap centred on Madlab. Manchester Piccadilly (MAN) train station and Manchester Central Coach Station are not too far either.
