Introduction
This work consist of preliminary research on Ubuntu usage of Snap in order to update the Ubuntu entry in "Explaining Why We Don't Endorse Other Systems".
Snap
While it is possible to use snap offline, this requires the snap-store-proxy software which is nonfree (The license is set to "proprietary").
