Once you understand the values of Free Software, it is easy to participate in GNU Generation!
- First, register for the wiki above. Please note that there is currently an 8-character limit on usernames.
- Next, create a profile. This will allow others to get to know who you are, and will give the FSF a chance to show that you understand the values and philosophies behind Free Software.
- After that, make sure to join the mailing list and hang out on the IRC channel (#gnu_generation on irc.freenode.net) so you can stay up to date with GNU Generation.
- Finally, join an existing project or create your own.
Check out the FAQs, or ask on IRC or the mailing list if you have any questions.
