Can we talk to these groups about changing their name to GNU/Linux user groups, or about becoming LibrePlanet groups? See http://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html. Are the GNU/Linux distributions here fully free distributions as in http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-system-distribution-guidelines.html? We need to be careful about what we list here, and make sure that we are encouraging the projects that are most supportive of user freedom. --[[User:johns|johns]] 18:13, 24 March 2009 (EDT)

* This page should list areas within Turkey, which groups can link to via their group page. If the users are not prepared to create their user and group pages, I see this is simply advertising open source, and should be deleted. Users of other groups cannot use LP groups to promote their groups, they must only deal with LP issues on this site. So we're looking for the actual users who signed up, not the groups they're advertising. If the users are prepared to create an LP group, np, but they cannot put LKD info on their group unless it is relevant to LP. --[[User:Blacky|Blacky]] 20:16, 24 March 2009 (EDT)
