I'd really like to hear from folks who have begun or completed campaigns to get their local school or library to use more free software, or switch completely. If that's you, put your name in here!
I can share what I know about free software in libraries, especially the integrated library system for managing bibliographic records in the catalogue etc. supported by projects such as Koha to which I contribute. I can also speak to the issue of freedom over the bibliographic records themselves which has resurfaced during the past year as a significant issue in the library community. Thomas Dukleth
