Several Ralink drivers don't need to load nonfree firmwares:

The rt2500 works with several PCI/pc-card cards and doesn't require to load any nonfree firmwares.
Maybe some cards with rt2500usb work without having to load nonfree firmwares.

Note that the card may or may not have internal nonfree firmwares.
