The Framadate poll to choose an "In Real Life" date and location didn't have enough respondents to make an in-person meeting beneficial. Consensus on the mailing list was to hold a regular Mumble online meeting on the 24th.

- The 18th annual DebConf will take place in Montreal, Canada from August 6 to August 12, 2017. It will be preceded by DebCamp, July 31st to August 4th, and Open Day, August 5th.
